Naj
Technical portfolio focused on homelab infrastructure, Docker, networking, databases, dashboards, automation, and engineering support systems.
I build, troubleshoot, and document practical IT and engineering solutions using real systems, self-hosted services, and production-style lab environments.
Most of my technical work is self-taught and built through hands-on troubleshooting, lab testing, documentation, and practical problem solving.
I use available tools, including official documentation, community references, and AI-assisted research, to speed up learning and validate ideas. Final implementation, testing, and documentation are based on my own environment and hands-on work.
Focus Areas
- Docker and containerized services
- Linux and Windows administration
- OpenWrt, firewall rules, VPN routing, and local DNS
- Unraid-based homelab infrastructure
- PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Redis, and application database separation
- Nginx Proxy Manager, Authelia, and private service access
- Grafana, InfluxDB, Flux queries, and dashboard optimization
- Power BI, DAX, maintenance KPI reporting, and data modeling
- Power Automate workflows and Adaptive Cards
- FreePBX, SIP testing, softphone access, and VPN-based telephony
- SCADA/OT support concepts, remote monitoring, and operational dashboards
Selected Projects
Homelab Infrastructure
A self-hosted lab environment used to test Docker services, reverse proxy routing, database hosting, DNS filtering, secure access, and backup practices.

Docker, PostgreSQL, and Redis Service Model
Designed a cleaner container backend model where applications use dedicated databases and users while sharing central PostgreSQL and Redis services.

Grafana and InfluxDB Dashboards
Built and optimized dashboards for time-series data using InfluxDB and Grafana.

Lab Notes
My lab notes are used to test and document practical designs before applying similar patterns to real environments.
Public-safe topics:
- Homelab architecture overview
- Private service access model
- Docker update strategy
- Local DNS and reverse proxy design
- VPN access model
- Backup and recovery planning
- Database separation per application
Sensitive details such as IP addresses, hostnames, credentials, firewall rules, and private subdomains are intentionally excluded.

Working Style
I prefer:
- Simple designs that are easy to maintain
- Clear documentation
- Reusable commands and checklists
- Secure-by-default access
- Private services behind authentication
- Manual validation before production changes
- Understanding the root cause instead of only applying quick fixes
